Biography.

Anne-Marie Cadman produces textile-based pieces on fabric and paper.
The work is characterised by strong colour, over layered pattern, and a fascination with composition, opaque vs transparent use of colour and contrast of scale.
Techniques used include hand painting, stencil and screen printing, collage and experimental mark making.
She has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally, undertaken numerous educational residencies and carried out private and corporate commissions.
Her work has been featured in books and publications such as "International Textiles" and "Country Living".
1997 saw television appearances on BBC's "Craft Show".

Residencies.

Anne-Marie has undertaken numerous and varied residency work throughout her career, from Early years to visiting lecturer at Loughborough University from 1993-2008.
